V. Maria Townsend

Your analysis is excellent. My own recent study of Communism and Capitalism fall within the range of your description; however, the window has just cleared by understanding underlying philosophies of both. Long discussions with a former ambassador of Costa Rica left me intrigued and even more confused. He sided with Communism, against Capitalism and I listened. At the end, his need for total control in his personal life and violence as an end game left me confused. Now I understand. Both are imperfect and our future must ultimately care for the common man as must our leaders. Thank you for this chapter.
